Love is a Cyborg Playing the Harpsichord

Happy Valentine's Day, everybody. In case you were wondering, mine was awesome. To start off the day, I went to the local bakery (because we totally have one) to buy a dozen cupcakes or so, wearing this floaty Erin Fetherston thing.

Unseasonable in these temperatures, I know, but my heart was just so full of romance! I was given my confections free of charge because I looked so lovely. Then I went to a late breakfast with Jon Krasinski, outfitted in ChloƩ. This ensemble is a little bright for my taste, but Jon just loves me in coral.

After Jon and I said out bittersweet goodbyes, I went to a movie with Daniel Radcliffe. He really is a sweetheart, though a little young for my taste. At any rate, he nearly died when I approached him wearing this! Proenza Schouler really does do wonders for my figure.

At this point, it was beginning to get a bit on the chilly side, and I needed to dash down to the antique shop to pick up the Manet I purchased. And who should I run into at the shop but Cilian Murphy! Quel surprise! Luckily, I was wearing this attractively streamlined coat from Philip Lim's Fall '06 line. Phew!

While hanging up my new painting, Johnny Depp showed up at my door, begging me to go dancing with him. He was so polite about it that I really couldn't refuse, so I tossed on some t-straps and this glinty Gucci shift and boogied away.

Dancing was great fun, but Johnny was starting to get a little wobbly, and I thought it best to cut our evening short. After the obligatory goodnight kiss, we bid eachother farewell. I entered my pristine room and collapsed onto my king-size bed. I was drifting off to sleep when I heard a soft knock on the door. There, silhouetted in the moonlight, was Christian Bale, holding a bag of sour gummy worms. He took my hand, whisking me away to a candlelit dinner in the city. Not, of course, before I put on my final showstopper of the night, a peachy Zac Posen number with all kinds of sexy gathering.

Yeah, Valentine's day was pretty great. And no, I did not have strep throat and spend the whole day blowing my nose and watching The Office season 2. Who told you that?

Maddy

Ok, as lovely as my Valentine's Day was, I might consider trading it for all of these amazing clothes.
